Were on the Same Team, Remember? – Or are we is the question??? This is a great film on customer service – especially internal customer services. This customer service training video does a great job of presenting a realistic scenario of how a customer may perceives the service that they receive while dealing with a company in its entirety. The service one receives is not just with the sales representative – the perception of service can be tainted when they call in and is put on hold in a crude manner, or when they interact with the front desk staff and are snubbed or not treated in an appropriate manner.
It brings home the point that even if we do not work in the same department – we are all on the same team, ultimately working toward the same goal which is to give our clients the best possible service so that they will return to be a long time, loyal customers. Basically, the intent is that they choose “us” over “them.” How one acts or reacts to a client at any given point in time in the “sales” or “service” process can effect the overall perception of their experience with your company.
Small things here and there that may be deemed as normal can be the very things that put off a client who then takes their business elsewhere. Be aware that we are all working together – one department ultimately leads to another and all divisions of a company are moving parts - we need to be aware of the necessity to all move in conjunction with one another – if not it could very well cost you your best customer.
